2019 Accomplishments
New Water Purification Specialists

Trained seven (7) new water team specialists in the U.S. with tools and knowledge to enter the mission field and trained an additional fifteen (15) specialists in local Haitian communities.
Mission Field

Mobilized seven (7) volunteers to Haiti over two separate trips during January and February 2019.

Installed five (5) new purification systems and trained & certified community leaders on the use & maintenance of the systems. ​

​Visited seventeen (17) sites where systems were previously installed. Enacted repairs where possible and placed other items on list for follow-up during upcoming trip.

Repaired a hand pump restoring desperately needed water to a community that had been doing without.

Conducted Health and Hygiene training for communities at new purifier sites.

Evaluated a new site for potential system installation.
Strategic Partnerships

Continued strategic partnership with ShoeCrew Water Projects through the collection of slightly used shoes to fund new wells and through the use of their facility for our SWT Water Training.

Continued assisting Joy in Haiti in their mission to support the House of Joy orphanage and the New Christian School of Tabarre.

Installed a new water purification system and conducted training at El Roi School (near Cite Soleil in Haiti).

Enhanced our relationship with New Life International during our stay at their campus in Mirebalais.
~ 88 cents of every dollar raised goes directly towards water projects in the form of training, mobilizing, system installations, and/or system repair
SWT has been a Missouri 501(c)3 Corporation in good standing since March of 2013. All contributions are tax deductible.

Supported the Missouri Irish Festival in St. Charles, the 200th birthday celebration of Dardenne Presbyterian Church, and the STEM program at Fort Zumwalt South Middle School to enhance awareness and demonstrate the chlorinator operation

Held a Dine-to-Donate event at Texas Road House to increase public knowledge of the need for clean water

Hosted third annual Bowling for Water fundraiser at Bowlero in St. Peters, MO.
